Monday's Topic: Summer Reading Craft Week 5
This week's craft theme was recyclables. We used materials that you could get for free and can be reused. We made a shell pet and a newspaper puppet. Pictures will follow later. To decorate the newspaper puppet, they used sequins, foam pieces, stickers and markers. The craft was easy to make and they really enjoyed it. After the program was done, they did a connect the dots giraffe handout.

ooh, sequins. How I love them. They are the big version of glitter, so a little easier to clean up, but just as sparkly.
